JOHN HOPPER: writer-artist, publisher-promoter
I am an artist and writer in my own right, as well as being a tireless publisher and promoter of challenging contemporary art and artists.

I produce a range of books, write regularly for international art magazines, am a juror for international art exhibitions, an art book reviewer, and producer of a regular contemporary arts magazine. I am also consultant for Balaclava.Q - the international queer art platform, and co-director of Balaclava.Q’s ‘HIVideo’, an international art film event held across four continents on December 1.

I have always been happy working internationally from an online stance. Based in the UK it has never been a problem. Small and large projects are my speciality, whether it be writing an artist statement, jurying an art exhibition, or organising an international art event.
